Can Not Save New Document in Word 2008 or Word 2011

After moving to OS X 10.8.2 Mountain Lion I can not open a folder in Espionage 2 to save a new document in Word 2008 and Word 2011. It shows the folder as a dim icon instead of a solid icon. I can save a new document in Pages 2009.

So you are saying that with mountain lion word 2011 cannot save into protected folder, before mountain lion it worked, correct?
And at the same time Pages have no problem saving into the same protected folder, correct?
Pls confirm and I will test it for you.

I can not select the folder in Word 2008 and 2011 to save the document to because Word will not let me select the folder. I can open a document previously save into to the folder, but I can not save a new document to the folder.

Indeed your are right. I found a workaround for you, it is not the nicest thing, but it works: Once the save dialog opens, switch to finder, and drag the protected folder onto the save dialog, this will make save dialog switch into the protected folder, now you can save the file.

Not sure why is this happening, but Espionage 2 is not under active development any more, so this is the best I can offer to you.

Thank you zsolt!! I had similar problem, but after following your instruction I have able to resolve the problem. now I can save New Document in Word 2008 or Word 2011 by Espionage 2.
